Rostock-Warnemünde, 27th March 2009 - The A-ROSA AQUA has left the assembly halls of the NEPTUN WERFT on Friday night. She is the seventh river cruiser for the A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH. After a short docking time the A-ROSA AQUA will be hauled to the fitting quay where she is tested and receives final equipment.
The 135 metre long vessel is an evolution of the best classic riverboats approach. With 99 cabins, each 14.5 square meters large, the A-ROSA AQUA has space for 202 passengers, with 70 of these cabins equipped with a French balcony. The ship offers all amenities you’d expect of a cruise ship: wellness in the Spa ROSA with outdoor area, massage facilities, beauty and fitness area, culinary delights in the market, restaurant, bars and cafes.
The A-ROSA AQUA will join the A-ROSA fleet in Summer 2009 and cruise on the Rhine, Main and Mosel. It will be 135 metres long, 11.4 metres wide and have a draft of 1.6 metres. Due to its dimensions it can cruise on all big European rivers including the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal.
