“For NEPTUN WERFT, training our own skilled workers is and remains an important task in order to counteract the shortage of skilled workers and develop highly qualified skilled workers,” says Claudia Klasen, Human Resources Manager at NEPTUN WERFT. The basis for this repeated award is our modern, modular training concept, which optimally combines theory and practice. During a tour of the training workshop, Ms. Passehl was impressed by the technical equipment and the wide range of opportunities offered to young people at our company. She particularly emphasized that successfully completing dual vocational training at our shipyard always leads to permanent employment—a strong signal for the future security and prospects of our trainees. We would like to thank our dedicated team of trainers for their excellent work and wish all trainees continued enjoyment and success in their career.
NEPTUN WERFT trains plant, industrial and construction mechanics, among others. After completing their vocational training, the company offers the young skilled workers further qualifications. Numerous current industrial foremen and managers at the shipyard laid the foundation for their careers through training within the company itself. NEPTUN WERFT builds and supplies engine room modules for cruise ships and state-of-the-art river cruise ships within the MEYER WERFT Group and is preparing to enter the construction of converter platforms.
