NEPTUN WERFT has officially handed over the river cruise ship Viking Dagur to Viking in Basel. The technical handover of the vessel by the project management team had already taken place on July 28, 2026, in Lelystad, the Netherlands.

With a length of 135 meters, Viking Dagur is part of the Longship series. The vessel accommodates 190 passengers and 53 crew members and will operate on the Rhine, Main, and Danube rivers. The first guests are expected to embark on August 10.
