Our occupational health management ensures a better work-life balance for our employees. This includes our cooperation with local gyms, various courses (coping with stress, quitting smoking, etc.), addiction, bullying and debt counselling, and much more.

At MEYER WERFT, all our salaries, holiday allowances, Christmas bonuses and leave entitlements are regulated by collective agreements. Furthermore, we provide our employees with a pension, a canteen subsidy, discounted train tickets and the option of semi-retirement.

Safety in the workplace is one of our main priorities. All our areas have been screened by risk assessment teams to determine safety targets, and we’ve developed a special occupational health and safety programme for our apprentices to reduce the risk of accidents. And, of course, our in-house doctor is always at hand.
