New skilled workers at NEPTUN WERFT in Rostock

15 employees successfully completed their apprenticeship

Rostock-Warnemünde, 31st January 2008 - At NEPTUN WERFT, education and practical training has always had a high priority. Each year, young people are offered a qualified education and thus given a solid foundation for career advancement.

After 3.5 years of education, 15 trainees successfully passed the final examination. As a result of their efforts they have all been offered a temporary contract and will continue their work as skilled employees at the shipyard.

To celebrate their success, a small celebration took place at the shipyard. Manfred Müller-Fahrenholz, Managing Director of the NEPTUN WERFT, handed out the exam credentials as well as the employment contracts.

This year NEPTUN WERFT will recruit 24 apprentices who will be trained as construction mechanics, plant mechanics, industrial mechanics and mechatronics.
