NEPTUN WERFT continues its long-standing and highly successful partnership with Viking by delivering another innovative river cruise ship to the cruise line. The Viking Rota was delivered to Viking yesterday. The vessel’s technical handover by the project management team had already taken place on October 6, 2026, in Lelystad, the Netherlands.
“Viking’s continued trust in our products over many years is a testament to the high quality of NEPTUN WERFT,” said Managing Director Stephan Happe during the delivery ceremony in Basel.
Like her sister ships of the same class, the new river cruise vessel accommodates 190 passengers and has an overall length of 135 meters.
The Viking Rota will operate on the Rhine, Main, and Danube rivers.
