Neptun Werft has gained a lot of experience - both in shipbuilding and in the construction of sections. State-of-the-art plant and process engineering as well as the high qualification of the staff make the affiliated companies Meyer Werft and Neptun Werft a constant in the national and international shipbuilding industry. Since 2006 the traditional name "Neptun Werft" has been back in the market. The "Neptun Stahlbau GmbH“ – one of the successor companies of the previous Neptun Werft – was renamed. As early as in 1997 Neptun Werft became an affiliated company of Meyer Werft in Papenburg, and hence a member of the Meyer Neptun Group. When the yard name was re-changed to the traditional "Neptun Werft" in 2006, both Meyer Werft and Neptun Werft developed their uniform corporate design.
